Teller openings occur on a recurring basis in our organization. They may be full-time or part-time depending on the circumstances and banking location. We encourage interested individuals to contact us and/or submit an application that may be used for any current or future openings.

General Accountabilities of Position: 
Will process customer transactions in a timely, accurate manner, adhering to established bank regulations, policies and procedures.

Skills/Education/Experience Required: 
Post high school education and/or one year in banking or a related field is preferred.

Eligibility Factors: 
Candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to cross-sell and meet product sales goals. Will possess the ability to develop strong customer relationships.  Must be organized, detail-oriented and accurate; possess good oral communication skills and grammar; be professional in appearance, pleasant, courteous and a good listener.

Additional Criteria: 
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule.  Must have a satisfactory record of work performance and adherence to all bank policies and procedures.  A four-week teller training program is provided in addition to the opportunity to advance within the pay grade system through our Teller Certification Program.  The bank reserves the right to schedule Tellers at all of our banking locations based on staffing and customer needs.

Position Title: Network Administrator
Location: Muscatine
Hours: Hours of Operation

General accountabilities of position:

Performs duties to support the Internal and External Networks and all peripherals. Coordinate the set-up and maintenance of hardware and software. Assist with Disaster Recovery testing. Provides assistance and support to affiliate banks. Monitors and administers the network as well as develops and maintains documentation of procedures related to the network usage. Maintains all software licenses for network and workstations.

Skills/education/experience required:
Associate Degree; Bachelor's Degree Preferred; and/or 3 years in related field. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel to affiliate locations.

Eligibility factors:
Proficiency in network operations system, Office Products and various other PC based software. Will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a proven record of problem solving ability. Enjoy coordinating multiple projects and meeting deadlines to ensure quality computer network services.

Additional Criteria:
Must have the flexibility to work off hours, weekends, and holidays when needed during system upgrade times. Must be able to rotate on call hours with other network staff. Occasional travel and additional hours may be required.

Position Title:  Assistant Branch Manager
Operating Unit:  Central State Bank
Reports To:  Teller Manager
Location:  Muscatine Hy-Vee Super Bank
Hours:  Rotational during Hours of Operation (in-store bank; includes Sundays and some holidays)
Posting Date:  March 18, 2014

General Accountabilities of Position:

Directs the day-to-day operations of the Hy-Vee banking center, in the absence of the manager, to achieve profitability, growth and customer service objectives. A strong emphasis will be placed on sales development and helping to manage a team of Customer Service/Sales Associates to identify existing/potential customer needs and cross-selling bank products and services. Will be accountable for learning/adhering to all bank regulatory standards, policies and security procedures. Will assist in accepting credit applications from customers in absence of the Branch Manager for further review/approval by the appropriate Loan Office.

Skills/Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or two years proven sales and/or management experience and training preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Eligibility Factors:
Will possess excellent communications skills and have a proven record of problem solving ability. Enjoy selling services and coaching staff.

Additional Criteria:
Will be expected to achieve a Level 4 Teller Certification within an appropriate time frame, determined by the teller manager. Ability to multi-task and stay focused/organized is a necessity. Must be comfortable accepting full responsibility for the branch operation, working weekend hours (Saturday/Sunday) and Holidays and on-call as needed; enjoy developing aisle selling campaigns/supporting Hy-Vee in store events as well as working independently.
